Why is the guard not filing an FIR...if he has been hurt above the neck, it can become a case of attempted any case, the RWA must get the case investigated, record all evidence and statements for future reference...

The guard may be unwilling to file an FIR, as he may not want the police to trouble him later, but he can definitely file a complaint with the police for their information so that they are aware of lumpen characters living in the village areas of Ardee...may be they have previous incidents of similar nature...recording information about violent actions is helpful in many ways...

Yesterday there was a case of chain snatching in front of our lane ie B-117 to 127, the victim happens to be a village women, as per her statement two people from a stationery bike standing near empty fields came and snatched the chain. Now the twist, in the evening the women accompanied with four men came, and thrashed the private guard kept for the security of the lane by the residents, the guard is in a very bad state and had to be taken for medical attention, some hairline fractures in arms and legs. What to say? The guard refuses to file for FIR as he is in a state of shock.

Mr.Pandey, D-14 is quite near to the Vacant unkept Land. Point is the broken walls with undesirable elements jumping over the broken walls to enter Ardee City and then jump back after their task is done. Another point is wild plant growth which shield people and gives protection. So the vast ground needs to be cleaned, walls repaired and fenced to plug the leakage of undesirable elements entering colony unauthorisedly which will secure to some extent the entire colony. Intruders will always go bit far then the nearby area to avoid suspicion a fact every body knows.

Mr. Vivek Pandey, it seems the D14 lane is particularly may be residents can get together and create a neighborhood watch body of volunteers who can by rotation look out for suspicious activity in that lane...if there are some senior retired citizens residing in the lane, they can participate actively as they do not have to leave for office during the day and generally have time to get together and socialize as well...

It is well known that the best security is always provided by immediate house is safe if your neighbors know you well...problem in new colonies is that people remain strangers even after living as neighbors for many years...having guards or police does not generally fact it is thought that crimes in an area increase after a new Thana opens up in the neighborhood...and guards provided by Ardee are just ornamental...some of the rogue element among the guards could even help the thieves by sharing information about the target houses...

Mr. Tiwary its a fact with whole Ardee City, nothing special in this. In-fact most vulnerable area is B block where maximum number of theft case case have been reported till date, latest is B 84. I live in D 14 lane and there are 6 theft cases happened in last 2 years, including mine as well, again latest is C 1/24 GF which is adjacent to D 14 lane. How many can you report from your lane? Indira colony is a village area, you cant simply remove them or highly restrict them. Its a fact and we need to accept that. The only possible solution is to bring more n more people to become member of RWA, let RWA be financially strong enough to take over services and maintenance with legal pressure on builder to complete promised amenities and development. Do we have any other option ?

The most vulnerable spot is the Vast Empty Stretch of land before D-16 block and Indira Colony. This land meant for a school and dispensary is lying in utter neglect and you can find pigs and stray animals roaming in the land. Sometimes hordes of sheep and buffaloes also come and enjoy the open area. Suspected elements can be seen moving around the vacant land having liquor and drugs. The wild grass has grown a foot length along with other wild plants. The barricaded walls have been broken at places and these undesirable people jump over the walls to enter the ardee city and jump back after committing their task. Time and again this has been pointed out to RWA President but he ignored this problem. At least the land can be cleaned and levelled with walls fenced on the top can be done. Till such time we live in insecurity.

As usual, RWA is silent and letting the opportunity slip. This was the right time when Ardee management was vulnerable and their GM has also resigned, to strike and get the work done.

can we have some comments from RWA...are they planning to hit the iron??

6.Sanjay Singh Negi said on November 28, 2012, 6:50 pm

It seems the case relates to some fraudulent purchase of land by Ardee...we have to find out if any of this land was used for constructing houses or flats and sold to residents...if so these residents would be at grave risk of losing their properties...may be the RWA should get this investigated...
