what or who exactly is this "chaupal group" ? can someone explain to me ?

If Ardee Mgmt is serious about moving ahead they should only listen to RWA as the RWA represents the residents.

I feel it is still Ardee Mgmt's fault that they want to retain control and are unwilling to part ways and let go of maintenance income . Therefore they are promoting infighting.

Ardee Management will do what suits them i.e. Divide & Rule. If we were also in Ardee Management, would have done so. It is upto residents to match the challenge, instead of fighting as rivals and look silly.

Communication between rival groups is important because that can only break the barriers. Living in separate Silo's will not help at all.

Can Chaupal and RWA have common minimum program and move on, together? I guess, there can be difference of opinions but not difference of intent. Who would not want better security, better facility and better service at a reasonable price. Both groups together need to reason out each other and put atleast the common program together before Ardee Management.

Why is letter of residents important at all ? I feel it is also Ardee mgmt's fault trying to weaken RWA by promoting infighting. Ardee Mgmt should only interact with RWA representatives not sub groups . If they are doing that then it means they want to bypass RWA.

If RWA is the representative of the residents of Ardee City by majority then all residents should abide by that.

Unfortunate.

This happens with all RWA activity in most of the societies i.e. one rival group is always there, but one cannot loose heart and hope. Keep making efforts.

Monsoon rains since morning have left the road flooded without any exit. The only way out is to pump the water out. What can be done now?

Keep up the goodwork

we should thanks "chaupal" people about the delay by builder. as per our commitment with builder they will complete the road work & we will negotiate on the services. now chaupal people has send letters with signature of residents stating that we dont need anhancement in services & happy with the conditions as of know. builder stop investing which they have agreed to us, we are still persuing them to complete this road work.
this is unfortunate that we residents play in the hands of builders & give them excuses for no work in colony.
i feel if people go directly & meet builder is the way then there is no need of RWA.
the act of few individuals have jeopradise the efforts of rwa for last six months.
if we cant unit us we cannt win with builder.
as rwa we are still trying to get these repairs done & will update Asap

Where is the road of C-9, Mr. Vikram?

Work was to start on 15th June and today is 25th June.

I had requested for a water pump to clear the water log and there has been no response on it even. Monsoon is about to reach Delhi and still there is neither any action nor any back up arrangement.

37.Piyush Kumar said on June 11, 2011, 8:42 am

Thanks Vikram for the update. I wish the work starts on 15th June.

I suggest that as a back up/ standby, some pump set be also hired for such water logging in the society during the monsoon.

Keep up the goodwork.

Regards

hi piyush & vinay

only update we got from ardee is road will start constructing from 15th june, we are pushing really hard to ardee on this .
but also we need to understand as residents we are paying to ardee the maintainannce & not ready to have rwa take control of these things. so we need to live on the mercy of the builders.
the movement we reach to some stage that rwa will be taking control of services , some other small groups approach builder with a letter & signature that we are ok with the services.

Could some RWA-EC come and have a look at C-9 lane after the mild showers last night.

Would Ardee Management or RWA deploy a pump to clear the water log, about 1 feet deep, facilitating children and people to walk on the street.

I would want the RWA rep to take the matter to Ardee Management and local authorities on the appalling attitude towards resolving the basic problems of residents.

34.Piyush Kumar said on June 3, 2011, 1:27 pm

Hi Vinay

Lets find time, mobilize people of our lanes and make a common representation to Ardee Management, as the chain of comments on this blog has shown inability of RWA to assertively take it forward, successfully.

Every effort has to be made to ensure that road is made before the monsoon, be it legally even.

I am not sure if we can make common representation to Ardee Management to get the road reconstructed, failing which we stop paying maintenance to them serving them a legal notice as a service provider.

Lets do whatever works. Sitting idle or prodding RWA is also not helping either. Comparatively C-9 would be much worse a road than C-10 lane.

Your thoughts.

Piyush
