RWA Update on Actions 17-Mar-2015

• The arbitration case has made  some progress.  The Arbitrator heard the matter on the 13th March, 2015.  He ordered that the case would be taken up on the 27th March 2015, for final hearing.

• Regarding the property tax, it is understood that the Municipal Corporation has dedicated their room No.14 for dealing with property tax matters.  Counter No.3 in this room has been assigned the Ardee City cases.  It is further understood that this office is open on all the seven days and works from 8.00  a.m. to 8.00 p.m. It is likely that senior citizens will be extended due courtesy.

• It has already appeared in the Dainik Jagranon 12th/13th March that the MCG House has already submitted a proposal for exemption of late fee/surcharge to the State Government.  Thereafter only the basic house tax amount @ Re.1/- per sqyd.  p.a. would be payable.

• The MCG is also organising Property Tax collection camps in various parts. After sector 56 and 57, more camps are reported to be held in Vipul Green,  Uppal South and Maruti Vihar.  These camps are normally held at the initiative of the local Municipal Councilor.  We are trying to contact our Municipal Councilor Shri Ashok Kumar Yadav, to get a camp organised in his office also for the benefits of residents of Ward No.31.

• We have also sent a communication to the Principal Secretary, Town & Country Planning Deptt. for transfer of Ardee City Colony to the MCG, with a copy to the Commissioner, MCG and the District Town Planner.  In addition, the Deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon, has also been requested to permit Ardee City RWA to handle the non-mandatory maintenance services, as has been done in the case of Nirvana Country.

• It may be noted that no nominations were filed in respect of the 16 vacant collegiums for which the elections were announced on March 7/8, 2015.  As regards the elections for the posts of the President and the Treasurer, the same were cancelled for technical reasons

• It is hoped that the next meeting of the Collegium (General Body) will be held on the 12th April, 2015.  The members are once again requested to please suggest items for the proposed meeting.
