We had an active Google Group forum before this website was constructed. One of the most important thing that was being discussed there is an AGENDA to make Ardee City a better place to live. How this can be achieved is when we work towards these common goals and not fly off tangentially. I do not know where this discussion will culminate - but I am appending below the agenda as was building on Google Group.
I am sure many more suggestions will come forth and also ideas how to achieve them.
By the way, one of the tasks was to have a website for Ardee RWA. We have one now!
- Registration of floors/apartments
- Formation of WORKING GROUPS:Â With volunteers from amongst residents and RWA Exec.Body.
- Membership Drive.
- Invest in the RWA office - move to better location with a proper office - preferably within the Ardee office
- Appoint operational guy for RWA.
- RWA takes over all maintenance and security from Ardee. Ardee needs to transfer all money taken from flat owners to RWA (IFMS).
- All residents to have stickers on their cars...RWA. / Visitors register at each gate ...entry. (for non-sticker cars) – what about villages that have access through Ardee – how will this be controlled?
- 3-tier 24/7 Security, with Gates in all zones within the colony, block wise. If block is big then, it should further be divided into smaller zones. Replicate security arrangement like at Nirvana Country - each block has their own security - but under the SAME management / Proper security agency to be employed. / Installing Video Cameras at strategic points in the colony, if necessary and devise a monitoring plan.
- Colony Layout Map at each Entrance and other strategic points with "You Are Here" marked clearly. Proper map (digital print-out on Vinyl and then encased, well lit to be read at night also, well protected from weather and miscreats who would like to deface the map).
- Electricity backup in the colony
- Look at improving the main FUSE/JUNCTION BOXES which are forever suffering from various problems including SHORT CIRCUITS. Electrician to be available 24x7 at the Ardee Maintenance office.
- Check commercial and unauthorized usage of flats, like renting for guest houses, hostels etc.
- Better maintenance facilities; tie up with some professional company for all the work. / Massive tree plantation required, all over Ardee City and green belt in all empty spaces
- Solar lights backup at the strategic points in the colony
- Roads and Drains repair within colony. / Roads...to be realigned.pot holes to be repaired.
- Helpers provided at subsidized rates, like electrician, plumber, carpenter, painter. If not on the rolls of Ardee then through some tie up. And, if not subsidised, at least high on reliability and available exclusively for residents of Ardee City.
- Stray Animal menace to be curtailed.
- RO Water system right from the distribution center.
- Piped cooking gas
- Club House
- Community Hall
- Sports area for tennis / badminton / track / cycling track
- Temple
- Stop use of vacant land by people as open lavatory causing stench to rise and the clandestine activities going behind the bushes.
