Dear All, Please have faith in New Team and we assure you for earliest possible action on promises made during AGM by our team. We support from whole Ardee City for making it a benchmark for all others. Thanks, Vivek Pandey PRO - Ardee City RWA

My car cries for a new suspension everytime I drive it inside Ardee City. Is Ardee going to do anything about the shabby roads ? Roads , Storm Water Drainage and Removal of wild animals from the Zoo called 'Ardee City' are top of the grievances.

Also, let me add here - I am no die-hard fan of our RWA - what I realise is that if any residents' body can make a difference then it is this RWA alone (this, as in the organisation irrespective of who the office bearers may be).

There are smaller fragmented groups of residents who are more localised to their lanes or other causes but those organisations are hardly working towards ameliorating conditions within Ardee City.

HENCE MY SUPPORT FOR ARDEE CITY RESIDENTS AND FLAT BUYERS' ASSOCIATION (REGD) who can make a difference if we push them hard enough!

Thanks Jai! You have put across my point in very simple words - rave and rant, we must - but let us follow it up with some ACTION - and not any negative action but something positive which raises the bar of living standards to at least acceptable levels in Ardee City!

Hi Ashish, Niraj,

Sir ,Probably u have not seen or Known RWA so deeply as Jainiti has seen it. With that seeing i can reitterate that Raving and Ranting does not even move a single peace of paper in present RWA.

14.Ashish Bagchi said on December 9, 2010, 11:44 pm

Dear Jainiti,
Just saw your comment posted on December 6, 2010, 10:49 am. really surprised at your reaction or rather over reaction. I just said we've right to put across our thought here in this forum, and in many cases perhaps these may lead to a next level of participation.

Nobody ever meant that "by paying the RWA fees it gives us the right to command over anyone"

13.Niraj Kumar Tiwary said on December 6, 2010, 3:39 pm

We need RWA who listens to its members not discourage them from coming forward to point out community living hardships.

December 19th is the day for all ACTION. Nothing before nor after. All ur complaints and resentment can be transformed into ACTION on that date. Present what u have got on that day otherwise :)

So, all you people - please put words into action - by paying the RWA fees does not give anyone the right to command over anyone - that is a misconception you have to clear in your minds.

Secondly, it was MY raving and ranting that I began the Google Groups and then graduated to this forum and made the RWA take ownership of this. So, rave and rant we must. BUT ALL THAT I AM SAYING IS FOR HOW LONG SHOULD BE RAVE AND RANT? Should we not translate these into meaningful actions and decisions? The pains are felt by all of us and we needto step forward and convert our energies of complaining into a concrete plan and action thereafter.

Ashish - if raving and ranting would really help - forget Ardee City - even problems plaguing India would have been solved long ago!!

Col.Prabhakar - #1 - what has been made public in the notice above is not something that transpired on a single day or in a span of few days only because elections were announced. I am sure any rationale person can judge for themselves the processes, dialogues, successes (negligible), failures (not so many as they are in process) but mainly stagnations are a result of efforts put in over a long period of time. IF THE BUILDER HAS A CONTROLLING INTEREST AND NOT WILLING TO EASILY TRANSFER THE SERVICES TO US, WHAT CAN WE DO OTHER THAN THE ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE RWA?
#2 - That not many persons have subscribed to the RWA membership is absolutely correct.

I agree we do not have the most efficient and effective RWA and that is the reason volunteers are required to energise the RWA body!!

Vikram - I guess, we are arguing about one and the same thing from different angles. We are all frustrated as residents about the state of affairs of our colony, services, utilities and upkeep! THERE IS NOTHING RIGHT WITH OUR COLONY.

Honestly, I am at my wits end - it's not about functioning of the RWA or how we can do something etc. etc. etc. - at the end of the day we as residents suffer due to the absolutely pathetic state of affairs prevalent in Ardee City. We have to fight the builder and wrest control of services from them.

WHETHER THE RWA DOES IT OR SOME OTHER GROUP DOES IT - THE TRUTH AND BOTTOMLINE IS ABSOLUTELY THIS AND NOTHING BUT THIS!

If we (residents) can empower another group apart from the RWA so be it - but someone needs to work on it and hold the bull by its horns and not just make suggestions here. WORDS/SUGGESTIONS NEED TO BE CONVERTED INTO CONCRETE ACTIONS!!

hi jainti,

i have proposed a few solutions as well in my posts - summarized below:

1.Let maintenance charges (same or higher) be payable against milestones met by Ardee or any new service provider for that matter.

2.Let the RWA use this website to conduct a poll & act on key issues based on member feedback. So for eg, if majority votes to terminate agreemenmt with Ardee for maintenance so be it.

3. Define a timetable to resolve other issues - so Occupation Certificate cannot be a forgotten issue just because we have the more immediate issue of garbage to dela with. (BTW when was the last time RWA updated us on the website on OC issue? - u will get the point).

I am a fully paying member & will use this forum to express my thoughts - irrespective of what you may call them :)

I will also tell you & the forum from experience that when i was staying in Vasant Kunj, the maint charges used to be apporx Rs 150 per month, Garbage collection thru an NGO was another Rs 30/- - Roads, Parks etc were DDA responsibility.

So if we think we will get decent facilities (forget world class) by paying Rs 225 pm, we are living in a fools paradise.

Also if Rs 1 per sq yd has been fixed by Judiciary or any other Body/Person , it make the amount "legal" but not "right".

Rgds

Vikram
