BLOOD DONATION CAMP

 

Dear Ardee City Residents

 

There is huge shortage of blood in NCR which is going up every year with the increase influx in to the city. This shortage is largely met by commercial Blood banks who generally profit from human misery and in the process cause further damage by selling blood drawn from drug addicts and others who are unfit to donate blood and line up for blood donation for a paltry amount of money, with the specter of AIDS/HIV looming large before us, we cannot afford to use such blood. Realizing this need, the Lions Clubs International has set up a state of art voluntary Blood Bank where safe and fully tested blood is available to every person. Blood is provided to all the needy without replacement. We collect 100% blood from voluntary donors by organizing blood donation camps.

 

We are organizing blood donation camp on eve of Birthday of Father of the Nation 2nd October 2010 (SUNDAY) at Games Park, Near C Block Market, Ardee City, Gurgaon. This is our Humble Request to every resident of Ardee City to come forward with Family & Friends and Donate Blood, Because Blood can not be manufactured that is always donated by someone. Blood will be collected by the Doctors and Technicians of Lions Blood Bank.

We will be providing the following to the Donors:

1. Donor card

2. Reports on HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Malaria and Syphilis.

3. Reports On nine Parameters of blood such as Hemoglobin, Platelets,

4. Souvenir

5. Light refreshment (one juice And Biscuits)

 

Lions Blood Bank is authorized by the state blood transfusion council the governing body to collect blood from voluntary donors. Our license no. is 1899.
