Ad-Hoc Committee request the support from all members and residents to ensure smooth and fair election is conducted at an early date.
The Election of RWA will be based on Collegium system.
The brief is as follows:
- Whole Ardee City colony has been divided into 60 collegium (this was done in last election – new houses added in last three years will get attached to the nearest collegium)
- Each collegium consists of number of flats which will be detailed in the collegium list
- Nomination will be sought from each collegium
- More than one member can stand from each collegium
- The members who are active i.e. membership is renewed atleast upto June 2017 or are life member will be eligible to vote
- These active members will elect a representation from their collegium
- For unopposed member from ay collegium, he / she will be directly elected and no voting will be required
- Thus there can be maximum of 60 collegium members elected from the colony for RWA
- These collegium members will nominate members for the 10 / 11 positions of Governing Body
- For each of these 10 / 11 positions there can be multiple nominations
- Once the nomination for these positions are received, the 60 collegium members will cast their votes.
- Each collegium member will have right to cast vote for each of the 10 /11 positions
- The member with highest Vote will be declared winner for that position or the position where there is only one nomination the said person will be elected unopposed.
- These 10 / 11 elected members will be responsible for all activities of RWA certainly with the support of all members and residents.
The time will be given for filing of the nominations, withdrawal of the nominations and finally the elections. Thus this election will be held in two phases
