Gurgaon: For the coming assembly elections, the citys residents candidate has come up with promises for Gurgaons sustainable development. A planning board and development authority for the city top the agenda for R S Rathi an independent backed by several RWAs and Mission Gurgaon Development (MGD), a resident movement.
Vote for the one who is approachable , who knows the problems and their solutions and who is just another resident with this slogan Rathi released his election manifesto on Monday.
A civil engineer, R S Rathi has vast experience in the development and maintenance of civic amenities and community facilities. Hes worked for 15 years with DLF Ltd. And over the past eight years he has devoted much of his time in public service as president of DLF Qutub Enclave RWA and Gurgaon Citizens Council (GCC), said Bhawani Shankar Tripathy, an MGD member.
Rathi said, Results of the grossly unfair and discriminatory attitude of successive governments are visible in inadequate infrastructure, choked and chaotic roads, filth and squalor, and deep sense of insecurity. We want to change this.
The aspirations of residents have been dashed years ago. Successive MLAs made no serious effort to develop Gurgaon . The present infrastructure is able to provide for only 30% of its 20 lakh population , he added.
