Dear Residents,
We are beginning to issue identity cards/passes to vendors and domestic helps. Domestic Helps only includes persons working as maids and servants in Ardee City, Car Cleaners and Drivers. All other entities and persons (including maali, electricians, plumbers etc.) will fall under the vendor category.
Identity Cards/Passes issued now will be valid for entire 2011 and renewals will only be required at the end of 2011 ofr next year.
YEARLY charges are as under:
- Vendors Rs.800/-
- Additional helpers of Registered Vendors Rs.200/-
- Domestic Helps Rs.500/- (members of the same family working as domestic helps will have to register separately).
The cards being issued will have all the necessary details of the person and also be registered with the police. We are undertaking this exercise to enhance security within Ardee City. Other measures will follow gradually.
The process of Registering Vendors and Domestic Helps will begin on Sunday 16.Jan.2011 from 10 AM onwards at RWA office. The process will continue on Mon 17.Jan, Wed 19.Jan, Thu 20.Jan, Fri 21.Jan, Sat 22.Jan and Sun 23.Jan. Please note that TUE 18.Jan the RWA Office remains closed.
After the inital drive, we will have specific days when request to issue passes/Identity cards will be entertained.
All are requested to pass the word around to the vendors and domestic helps.
Regular and random checks will be done and persons without the Identity Cards/Passes will not be permitted to work as Domestic Helps or transact business as Vendors.
