- In the last note, we have tried to report the latest for information of the residents. You should be happy to know that the last order of the Distt. Forum dated 29th August 2014, is an eye-opener for us as well as the Ardee Management. The Management stands ousted from the responsibility and role of performing maintenance functions in Ardee City. The order literally says “RWA IS FREE TO REVOKE THE AUTHORITY FOR O.P. (Ardee Management) FROM MAINTENANCE AFTER A MEETING. “ But a limited stay has been given on the point by the State Consumer Forum to the Management till the next date of hearing i.e. 29.1.2015. On that date, the Management will use all its tricks and talents to retrieve the loss. So, we have to ensure that we do not lose the paradise that we gained. Hence, your help – social, legal, moral and financial will all be needed so that the Governing Body is able to go ahead in the fight with full force and has not to think even once on any point.
- Luckily, the other two reliefs granted by the District Forum have not been disturbed. In the first case, the Court asked the O.P. to give O.Cs. To RWA. The Ardee Management is not complying. The other relief directs the O.P. To accept electricity bills without refusing to any body. Here also, the Management is not complying and are still refusing payment of electricity bills unless the maintenance bill is also paid. It is a clear case of contempt of court. This again calls for legal action.
I shall be away from 4th to 12th November, 2014 and shall be returning to my desk on the 13th November, 2014.
