RWA Update on Actions 06-Mar-2015

• The Governing Body of the RWA met on the 4th March, 2015. Gist of the minutes is appended below. The Collegium members and the residents are requested to please forward their suggestions, etc. for being considered at the General Body meeting proposed to be held on the 12th April, 2015, at their earliest so that the notice period has not to be curtailed.

• Shri Sharad Sharma, Executive member of the Governing Body is in regular touch with the Advocate recently engaged so that our three cases pending in the Arbitration Tribunal, the District Consumer Forum and the State Consumer Forum are properly defended and the interest of the RWA are adequately secured.  The main and  immediate focus  will be that the builder should stop billing on the basis of the revised cumulative rate of Rs.1686/- p.m., but do the same  at the rate prescribed in the original agreement subject to final adjustment on the basis of the order of the Hon. Forum.

• The meeting decided that the next meeting of the Collegium (General Body) should be held on Sunday the 12th April, 2015, at the RWA office premises, at 11.00 A.M. and desired that a suitable notice for the same should be issued under intimation to the District Registrar of Firms & Societies. The notice should also indicate the items of the agenda. This could include the adoption of the Annual Accounts for the year 2013-14.  Suggestions should be invited from the collegium members regarding amendments to the Association Bye-laws, if they have found any shortcomings during the past one year of its working, since the last elections held in February 2014, with the request to please furnish the same at the earliest so that the notice period has not to be curtailed.
