RWA Update on Actions 10-Apr-2015

• It may be mentioned that the date for holding next meeting of the Collegium (General Body) of RWA has been shifted from 12th to 26th April, 2015
• Shri Vineet Kumar Maheshwari has sent some points for the meeting. Shri Vikramjit Singh also made some point and so has Shri Romesh Kumar Gupta. These points, along with any more expected during the next few days, will be consolidated for circulation.
• A meeting was held in the office of the Senior Town Planner at 11.15 a.m. on Thursday the 9th April, 2015.  S/Shri Arvind Kumar, M.M. Arora and Arun Kumar Sharma, attended the same. Shri R.S.  Rathee of Gurgaon Citizens Council, along with Shri T.N. Kaul and his other colleagues were also present. We reiterated the points prepared at the time of meeting with the Deputy Commissioner.  We also stated that already three meetings had been held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner and convenorship of the Senior Town Planner, i.e. in April, May and June, 2014.  Numerous decisions were taken and directions given to the builders with definite deadlines, but no progress on the ground was visible.  For example, it was stated that the Deputy Commissioner had ordered for the Community Centre in Ardee City to be given to the RWA, but the builder in this connection had done nothing.
• The Senior Town Planner said that he would discuss with the Deputy Commissioner and try to schedule a focused meeting under his chairmanship with the builders where the various points can be tacked one-by-one based on their priority, within definite time-frame.
• We shall  try to obtain documents submitted by the Gurgaon Citizens Council, which also cover the Ardee City, for our future reference and follow-up in due course.
