Considering all recent thefts and problems to neighbors using stair case I think shame on those owners and tenants who don’t like to switch on their staircase lights for just due to their thinking on power saving methods.
The fact is there are lot such kind of people who either doesn’t switch on the lights or removed bulbs from staircase lights and salute to those who made a provision to switch on lights from inside their houses, so when ever they want to come out they switch on and then again switch off, let others using same staircase feel their aggression.
Let me tell you some facts (please correct me if I am wrong):
Most of the people use a 5 watt CFL, which consumes (5/1000) * 12 hours = 0.06 units per day that makes around 1.8 units per month and cost you around Rs. 8 only per month.
Have you ever imagine that you are spending only 8 Rs per month which gives lot of ease to staircase users and also gives you enough security so guards can see from outside if something wrong is happening at your door.
These people spend a lot on all other things but their mentality shows how they want to be with their surroundings and outside world. Common man if you can use half a teaspoon less sugar, half a chapatti less, use a potato less, use an onion less, use a little ginger less, smoke a cigarette less, use TV 10 minutes less, use your cell phone a call less, drive your car less 100 meters per day you may save a lot than switching off your staircase lights.
If such people still feel that who the hell I am complaining about all these than I think you have no rights to ask about security issues, improving Ardee City as a whole and yes complaints about your neighbors.
