A wide range of colorful learning oriented fun activities such as t shirt painting, pottery, poster making, storytelling, creative writing, charkha, walks, treasure hunts, workshops etc are planned for children between the ages 5- 18 years. The book fair is an attempt to get children into reading meaningful relevant literature and to appreciate that as a way of learning about history, culture and self growth, children’s centre will inaugurate its children’s library.
Nehru Imprint : 14th November 2009 marked the 120th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML), as an institution dedicated to promoting the ideas, legacy and values cherished by India's first Prime Minister, launched a bouquet of activities to underline the Nehruvian vision and the era and its current relevance.
Woven around the themes of peace, nature and creativity - the mela seeks to be inclusive, earth nurturing, peaceful and celebrates diversity.
