Again there will be Elections and new RWA shall be formed. I have seen lot many people who curse RWA for their non-responsiveness, it is the time for them to come forward and exercise their right to vote.
BUT REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER, during AGM,
1. You will not be allowed to vote if you are not a registered RWA member and have not paid your dues.
2. You can contest election only if you are a registered member. So visit RWA office and take your membership.
3. Discuss about RWA elections with everyone whom you know and try to find out who could be the best candidate for RWA.
4. Housewives and Retired people generally seen taking very active part in RWAs so please around for someone dynamic and interested.
5. Make people aware of your candidature through this website or distributing printed leaflets about you.
6. Take special interest to get all your supporters registered for RWA membership so that they can vote in your favour during AGM.
7. Remember, RWA membership fee is only Rs. 600/- and if you can get a responsive RWA for Rs. 600/- then it is not at all a bad deal.
Finally I would like appeal here that this is the time when you can act and make a better RWA. Later its no use repenting so Act NOW. Choose your candidates and make all possible attempts to get people register for RWA Membership.
In the end I would like to add that you are most welcome to choose your candidates even from the Existing RWA as some office bearer are really good.
