Event Details : The Old World Theatre Festival now in its 8th year is regarded as one of the foremost Theatre festivals in the city with a distinct identity of its own. Staged every year at Habitat World, IHC, New Delhi, it is being brought to Epicentre, Gurgaon for the first time. The festival promises to bring the finest in theatre to the residents of Gurgaon.

This year the festival plays host to actor-director Feroz Abbas Khan's contribution to the cosmos of theatre. Being instrumental in bringing Hindi theatre mainstream recognition, he is also known for exploration in theatrical representations and for directing some of India's finest acting talent.

Saturday, 5th December : Salesman Ramlal (Hindi/120mins with intermission)
Dir. Feroz Khan; Writer: Arthur Miller; Cast: Satish Kaushik, Seema Biswas, Kishore Kadam & others
Ramlal is caught in a web of installment payments, technological obsolescence and retrenchment. Finding reality unbearable, he keeps slipping into illusions and nostalgia to make some sense of his life and reaffirm his dignity - an ordinary man with extraordinary dreams.

Sunday 6th December : Out Of Bounds (English/90mins)

Funny, poignant, the play is a fascinating and moving insight into the world of an Indian joint family in a racially segregated Indian township in South Africa.

The play explores a novel form of theatrical presentation with two performers who read love letters to each other, written by two persons over a period of 35 years.

Thursday 10th December : All The Best (Hindi/120mins)

Three friends - one blind, the other deaf and the third, mute enter a young girl in their home and straight into their hearts. One cannot see her, the other cannot hear her and the third cannot speak with her. But love her, they all do! The result - a rip-roaring comedy.
