                                         Election Process in Brief

The RWA election will be based on the Collegium system, following the format of previous RWA elections. Ardee City (plotted area) consists of a total of 60 collegiums.

Any new houses built in the last three years will be assigned to the closest collegium in their respective areas. A collegium comprises a specific number of houses, floors, or flats, the details of which will be provided within each respective collegium.

Nominations will be invited from each collegium. More than one eligible voter may file a nomination from their respective collegium. Only members whose membership is active (with subscriptions fully paid) as of midnight on August 4, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the elections.

The elections will be conducted in two phases:

• Phase 1: Election of Collegium Representatives
  A total of 60 collegium representatives will be elected, with one representative representing each collegium. Only eligible voters can vote to elect their specific Collegium Representative. If only a single nomination is received for a collegium representative post, that candidate will be declared elected unopposed without a vote.
• Phase 2: Election of the Governing Body (GB)
  The newly elected Phase 1 Collegium Representatives will elect the Governing Body (GB) of the RWA. The GB members will be chosen exclusively from among the 60 elected Collegium Representatives.

The Governing Body will consist of the following positions:

1. President
2. Vice President
3. General Secretary
4. Joint Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. Executive Members (5 positions)

A Collegium Representative can contest for multiple posts within the GB. Each Collegium Representative will have the right to cast a vote for each of the GB positions mentioned above.

The contestant who secures the highest number of votes for a position will be declared the winner. In the event of a single nomination for any post, the respective candidate will be declared elected unopposed.
